Hayley & Nathan gave everyone a surprise on there wedding day, what was going to be an engagment party turned into a wedding. We all had to watch what we said when Nat & I were doing the Hair & Make Up so as not to let it slip.
Hayley sent me a beautiful email after their wedding day to let us into their love story & journey of how they got to the wedding day
“Hi Sandi
I just wanted to say a Huge thank you for making our day so special. The mothers and grandmothers had an absolute blast getting pampered. Nathan’s Grandmother is from a cattle property and has never had hair and make up done before so it was even more special for her.
It actually poured right before we announced the wedding but cleared for Dad to walk me down the aisle. It was like it was meant to be. From the few photo’s Emma sent through I’m actually glad it rained. The rain photo’s are AMAZING!
I’ve submitted the ABIA and we couldn’t fault the service you both went over and above to look after us.
How we met
We met in March 2010. I was working for the Broncos as the Corporate Sales Manager and the company Nathan was working for at the time had a corporate facility. Nathan’s boss approached me and said I had to meet his manager Nathan who was just on the toilet and if I could please wait he would be out soon. I think I waited for a good 20 minutes to meet Nathan and every time I tried to leave his boss insisted I stay so he could introduce us. At this point I thought Nathan had some serious bladder and digestive problems but when he finally appeared I was surprised to find a young handsome and charming man with beautiful kind eyes. I later found out the reason he was in the toilet was he had a nose reconstruction the day before and was packing his nose with toilet paper so it didn’t bleed.
The best part of the day
To be honest the whole day was perfect. It was exactly what we wanted. The best part for me was marrying Nathan. For Nathan it was the look on everyone’s faces and the mixed reactions.
Did everyone know
There were a few people who suspected. My family had been very suspicious (we actually had to send them fake save the dates to try throw them off). Nathan’s family was very surprised. His mother said in hindsight there were quite a few clues that she never picked up.”
Love the fact that their fur babies wanted to be part of their special day also
Nathan & Hayley were married at their house which Nathan had been madly getting ready for the big day, he did an amazing job
