What a fun morning this was spending it with Celeste Josh & their adorable boys Oliver & Jasper. They decided they didn’t want a big wedding & wanted it to be all about them as a family. Celeste & Josh chose to elope & chose to get the team from Elope To Sunshine Coast to help plan their special day.
A bit of a personal touch to their story,
Celeste and Joshua both grew up in Coolum and despite having mutual friends they didn’t actually meet until 2008 at Coolum Surf club. They were both surprised to find an instant attraction and connection. Celeste who had just started work with aged care was only 18 and was swept of her feet by this handsome, 23 year old construction worker. The relationship started slowly as Josh was at that time working interstate however, they soon realised how comfortable they felt with each other. It wasn’t so much their common interests but the fact that they were so good for each other and brought out the best version of themselves. Celeste was shy and a little reserved but it was Josh who brought her out of her shell and it was Celeste who calmed and grounded Josh. Josh proposed to Celeste in March 2010 at Point Perry.
Celeste and Joshua’s relationship grew and the couple enjoyed spending time together They supported each other with loss and life stresses: buying a house, relocating for work as well as the joys, with the birth of these 2 beautiful children Oliver and Jasper. Josh and Celeste love being parents and are so proud of their two boys whom they love so much. Having them has cemented and sealed their family with love.
Best part of the day
So many lovely memories for our special day but i think the best part of our wedding was finally being told we are husband and wife. It was such a surreal feeling, instantly felt so excited and complete being married to Joshua and I know he felt the exact same way.
That afternoon I received this beautiful message from Celeste
“Sandi I really wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart in person but I knew I would cry. Thank you for keeping me company on the walk to reception & sitting by my side. I felt like I had Mum with me. You truly are a beautiful person. Josh & I are having the Champagne now, thank you again”
