Ash & I had the great pleasure to spend a couple of hours fill with laughter & fun with Kamie, her bridesmaids & her Mum at Maleny Manor helping her get ready for her wedding to Jake in September this year. I knew from when I did Kamies trial it was going to be a happy wedding with lots of love & laughs. Kamie was so relaxed.

Jake and Kamie met when she was 15 and Jake was 17. They actually  officially met at a party but Kamie had had a crush on Jake for a while “I was a bit of a fan he had no idea though”. She knew his brother and it was his birthday celebrations where they  met at, & they have now  been happily together 7 and a half years!

Jake proposed to Kamie in London in 2016. They’d just arrived to their hotel and were both extremely jet lagged but it couldn’t have been more romantic. She said yes!!!

They say that what defines them as a couple is that they have all the love in the world for each other but also deeply value their independence and that’s what makes it work so well.

They now live in the little coal mining town of Moranbah, QLD.

“The whole day was amazing but the best part would have to be when Jake and his groomsmen arrived in their helicopter. I remember hearing it and just having the most electric feeling in the air. It was incredible. The girls were soooo excited and I started to get a bit (very) emotional when I saw Jake exit the chopper. Completely magical.”
