Earlier last year, well April 23rd to be exact, Dawn Ash & I had the pleasure of doing the hair for this beautiful wedding. Heres a little their story as told by Nikita of their meeting at the airport to walking down the aisle at Annanbella Wedding Chapel followed by their wedding reception at Flaxton Gardens.

“Charles and I met in the Dubai airport. I was coming to Australia to visit my parents (I was living in London at the time) and Charles was coming home from a visit to his mum in the UK.

We started talking in the waiting lounge before boarding the plane, when we boarded we realised we were seated one row apart. With the flight being half empty we were able to move to an empty exit row and talk the whole flight home. We caught up a few times over the next two weeks, before I returned to London. Over the next 7 months we keep in contact via skype before I decided to move back to Australia in December of that year.

The date for our wedding is a special day for us, as it marks 3 years from our first date.

What area are you living in:

We both live on the Gold Coast, however the Sunshine coast was where I grew up, and that is why we chose it as our wedding location.

What was the best part of the day?

The whole day from getting ready with my bridesmaids to thanking our guests at the end of the evening was just what we had planned, a day that I will treasure forever. However, the best part of the day was seeing the smile on Charles’ face when I entered the chapel. Walking down the aisle towards Charles I immediately felt joy, peace and knew that I was about to marry my best friend and soul mate.
