In June we spent a really fun day with Olivia, her bridesmaid & best friend Tamara, Brett’s Best Woman his cousin Chrissy (his Groomsman Jake didn’t need his hair done) Mums hair at Maleny Manor these girls were heaps of laughs
Debate surrounds how Brett and Liv actually met. If you ask Liv, she’ll tell you that the first meeting was in the real estate agency where they both work, in November 2009 – the first day she walked through the door. If you ask Brett…the meeting takes place around five months later, at Brett’s 25th birthday party. That night was the first time Brett sat up and thought, ‘This girl might have something’.
They quickly through wicked humour, inappropriate jokes and a love of various childhood movies/books and popular culture, it didn’t take long before they were both travelling to an inconvenient train station for the both of them every morning, just so Brett could drive them to work.
Some months and a first kiss later, it was clear that this was something special, and from that point on – love has been easy followed by buying a house in Ashgrove which they added t their little family with 2 sassy cats Asha & Luna & a chocolate Lab pup called Fudge. This all led to their amazing wedding at Maleny Manor on a beautiful June day
The Best Part of Their Day
They both agree there were too many to count! Our fireworks display kept as a secret surprise to our guests and bridal party was one of them though, and the guests who didn’t realise the chandelier hanging from the ceiling was actually a cake until I started stabbing it. And when all the guests kept singing Bohemian Rhapsody even after the music had stopped. Brett did try to kiss me when I got to the end of the aisle without realising, that’s a favourite of mine. Really, the whole day!
