The start of Penny & Dan’s story happened a few years ago when they met at a mutual friends New Years Eve party. They were both at Uni at this stage & although nothing happened then they bumped into each other two years later where Dan won Penny’s heart with an impressive date by showing his cooking ability & she was sold.
They avoided the usual “when are you getting married” question for eight years but Dan’s planned proposal on the ski slopes of Japan didn’t happen due to Penny’s lack of skiing ability so he proposed in a relaxing Japanese Onsen over looking a snow covered forest
They chose the fabulous Yandina Station for their wedding as they fell in love with the gorgeous scenery & the beautiful Moreton Bay Fig tree, here they celebrated their day with family & friends on March 14th this year. Penny & her mum spent ages collecting candlesticks & pretty jars to decorate the dairy barn reception venue. The highlight of their day was the wedding speeches & dancing, it was one great big party. They couldn’t have been happy as to how their day turned out.
