On a beautiful sunny Sat back in May Tanja Ash & I went to Aroona to do Gemma’s hair for her wedding to Ben. We also did the bridesmaids & Mums hair & Nat Hunter did the beautiful Make Up.

Gemma & Ben met when they both went looking for love on a dating website and Ben came across Gemma’s profile and sent her a message. His tagline “Tall enough to wear heels” was a stand out and from his first few messages, she knew Ben was special. They both felt a connection straight away and started speaking through four different types of social media almost everyday and were excited to meet each other after two months of chatting. Their first date took place on 10th January 2014 at Strike Bowling, where Gemma promised Ben a kiss if he won. That night he won the game, and her heart.
They are now living in Maribyrnong in Melbourne (Ben’s from Melb and Gemma been there nearly 5 yrs) however Gemma has lived on the Sunny coast for 18 years before that.
When I asked Gemma what was the best part of the day she said “Oh my gosh there are so many elements to the day that we loved. The morning getting ready with my beautiful bridesmaids and my mum. It was so calm and relaxed. I enjoyed finally putting my dress on after my hair and make up…..the excitement was overwhelming. I felt so amazing once I was all dressed. Walking down the aisle with my dad, the beautiful speeches and dancing the night away. I dont think I left the dance floor, along with everyone else”
